Why Simplify doesn't do child care
We're often asked why we don't offer child care, pet care or senior care services. While everyone needs a break from the kids and from their care-taking duties, our goal at Simplify is to get rid of the more mundane household tasks and free up our clients' time so they can spend it on things - and people - they actually want to.
Also, while we have a rigorous due diligence process that we go through with all of our service professionals (personal interviews, reference checks, background checks and where appropriate, credit reports, verification of insurance and licenses), child care is a whole other level. There's first aid certifications, CPR certifications, fingerprinting, drug testing, and Trustline registration, to name a few. These are just a few qualifications that I'd want anyone who's taking care of my kids to have.
Perhaps in the future Simplify will expand into child care and pet care services, but for now, we're more than happy to take care of our clients' households so they can have the time to spend with their kids.
