List of Peanut Butter Product Recalls

The list of peanut butter and peanut paste products recalled as a result of the salmonella outbreak is growing. Although the FDA says that "Major national brands of jarred peanut butter found in grocery stores are not affected by the PCA recall," there are hundreds of different products that the Peanut Corporation of America distributed to, including cookies, crackers, cereal, candy, ice cream, granola bars and pet food.

The FDA has a list of recalled products by category on its website and you can also perform a search by brand name, description or UPC code.

Our household is generally staying away from peanut products just to be safe, because it's a little overwhelming just how many products peanuts are in.
